Dr. Piel graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2011 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Piel is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. His professional interests include cardiology and medical education. He also enjoys golf, cooking, and following professional football and baseball.
