Dr. Turner completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama – Birmingham. He earned his medical degree from the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University and Bachelors of Arts in College Scholars from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.

His professional interests include preventative care, medical education, and health disparities.

When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, Tennessee sports, and a good cup of coffee.
