Dan S. Ely, MD

EMERITUS

Dr. Ely is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His interests include preventive medicine and palliative care. He is the Medical Assistant Director of the University of Tennessee Hospice Services. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and is actively involved with State Volunteer Mutual Insurance Company, as well as the People’s Clinic at VMC.
